Sorry, no sunset at the end. But at least it had an ending, no? My thanks to everyone who stayed out of my way to let me participate. And to the internet for providing hundreds of reference photos to work from. I just love that modern technology.
In part, the story direction was driven by the reference photos. They frequently inspired upcoming panels/pages as I scanned through to do the work. When I began the story, I expected Coyote to seek answers from the Spirit Chief (often referred to as the Great Spiirit) much earlier in the story. I had some thoughts of multiple level realities and Coyote poking around backstage, working his way down levels to a world of stick figure people.
In that storyline, coyote would stay constant as he shifted between levels, but when he brought a person with him, that individual would find themselves changed in each new level. A stick figure man would suddenly find himself with new dimensions. Though starting as a mere shadow to Coyote, he would in time become more "real", and Coyote his trick backfiring, would become the shadow to him. But the story wandered off in a completely different direction from those initial ideas.
But that's part of the fun of the challenge, isn't it?

This strip was drawn digitally with a wacom graphics tablet - at no time did actual paper enter the process. Later if I print some up or something, then it'll see paper.

I hope you enjoyed the results as much as I enjoyed the challenge.
